THANK YOU CARD

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today.

Today I am showing a thank you card I recently sent to my upline Pootles, for some lovely gifts which I recently received from her.

I made a card base from a piece of A4 Thick Whisper White Cardstock, cut in half portrait then scored in half landscape to make a tent fold card.

I started with a pack of colored doilies. I snipped off the outer section to make it a little smaller, then using Daffodil Delight ink, used the doily as a stencil, inking through it three times onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 3 ⁵/₈” x 5 ³/₈”. I blended the remainder of the cardstock with the same colour. Using the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set, I stamped one of the flowers onto Whisper White cardstock seven times in Versamark, covered with Stampin’ Emboss Clear Powder and set with a heat gun. I inked over the top in Daffodil Delight ink. I punched them out using the Small Blooms Punch then inked another piece of cardstock in the same colour and punched out six more flowers to use beneath the stamped flowers. A thank you sentiment was added from the same stamp set, stamped in Versamark, and again in Daffodil Delight ink, covered in Stampin’ Clear Emboss Powder and heat set. I punched this out using a 1” circle punch and adhered the card together as shown.
