Scraps on Saturday! Using your Stampin’ Up! Scraps

Welcome to my blog and thank you so much for your visit. Take time to look around and see if any of my projects inspire you!

I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in the UK, so if you live in Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands or United Kingdom, you are eligible to purchase from me, but regardless of where you are from, I do appreciate your visit to my blog.

We all end up with scraps right? Whether that be offcuts, unused and leftover from projects where you may have stamped an image multiple times, die cut too many, or simply changed your mind mid-project but already have the pieces ready for your initial crafting idea. Many people, myself included, have a sense of not wanting to waste anything which may be useful for future crafting ideas and let’s face it, you want your full money’s worth too. To store my unused treasures I use three small (but overgrowing) tubs which are labelled paper offcuts, die cuts & stamped images and sentiments. I decided that it was time to use some up and this is what I came up with.

I made a bunch of notecards, just by playing with all the scraps, seeing what matched up with what and using any larger spare pieces of designer series paper and cardstock for the backgrounds which had not hit the tubs yet, but probably would have in the very near future.
Some of the stamped images will have been used before in my projects as I have a tendency to stamp an image more than once, just because I like the stamp or because I’m not sure which colours will work best or because I had two separate projects in mind at the time.

If you still have lots of scraps after trying this, you can always use your punches or die cut small flowers, banners, circles or ovals which are always of some use and the storage required for these small items is minimal.

I hope you can find some inspiration amongst my scrap makes and it is a subject I intend to return to from time to time.

Thank you for viewing my project today. If you wish to place an order, make a note of the item numbers and use the ‘Shop Now’ tab above, available 24/7, not forgetting to use the current Hostess Code which is PKH4JDUB if your order is under £150. Every customer will receive a thank you gift from me, sent separately from your Stampin’ Up order but please don’t select the No Contact option at the check out, as I won’t be able to send you your gift the following month. Besides this you may also receive a few emails from me about your order. If your order is over £150 you get to choose your own rewards.

See you next time,
