Welcome and thank you so much for your visit. Take time to look around and see if any of my projects inspire you!
I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in the UK, so if you live in Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands or United Kingdom, you are eligible to purchase from me, but regardless of where you are from, I do appreciate your visit to my blog.
Yay new products! The Confetti Flowers Border Punch is just that, a totally brand new item. I like it a lot! To begin I made a card base from a sheet of Thick Whisper White A4 cardstock, cut to measure 4¼” x 8½”, then scored it in half on the long side. Inky stuff next – I used a piece of Whisper White cardstock (larger than I needed to cut down later) and blended Daffodil Delight, Rococo Rose, Real Red, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather ink. I then tried something I haven’t done before – a verylight water spritz. This gave a wonderful effect, which I will be doing more of at a later date, and it didn’t buckle the cardstock. I then cut a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock to 4” x 4”. I used the Confetti Flowers Border Punch in a random-ish fashion, by this I mean that I did a full punch on each side but then turned the punch upside down so I could see where the next punched images were going to land on the cardstock. I did more punching in this manner, taking care not to overlap any areas, and not necessarily having the cardstock inside the punch straight either! This meant that I could achieve a non-symmetrical look. I then cut down the inky background to a very tiny fraction under 4” x 4” and adhered it to the back of the green punched cardstock. I chose the hooray sentiment from the Well Written Dies, which was cut in Whisper White cardstock, then covered in Versamark and heat embossed using gold embossing powder. I then punched more flowers using scraps of Daffodil Delight, Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy cardstock. I attached the sentiment to the card and arranged the punched flowers around it. When I was happy with the look, I attached slivers of Stampin’ Dimensionals to the rear of them and adhered them to the card. I put Pearl Jewels in the centre of each of the largest flowers. A nice, easy, colourful project to start with for a new item!
How to Purchase
If you wish to place an order, make a note of the item number(s) and use the ‘Shop Now’ tab above. On the next screen, at the top left hand side on the blue bar, there are three horizontal lines – click on the lines. A column will then appear where you will need to select your country (only if the one shown is incorrect) and underneath it reads ‘Find a Demonstrator’. Click this option and you will then need to select ‘Find a Demonstrator by name’. Insert my name (Angela Hicken) and click search. My details will then appear and you will need click ‘select’. (If you click the three lines on the blue bar again, this will confirm that you are now shopping with me). After selecting your items, insert the Host Code where prompted, which is 9XJE2ZJA during the month of June, but only if your order is under £150. (If your order is over £150 you will get to choose your own rewards). Every customer will receive a thank you goody package the following month, sent separately from your Stampin’ Up order. If the contact/no contact option is shown, please don’t select ‘No Contact’, as I won’t be able to send you anything!
If you make a purchase with me this month for £30 or more (excluding postage) in addition to the goody package, you will also receive a card kit, which will comprise of three cards to assemble yourself, all papers will be pre-cut for you with the card bases, envelopes and die cuts provided, the only item not provided will be adhesive, as I find the preference of this differs greatly between crafters.
Thank you for viewing my project today – I hope you will visit again soon!
