Punched Edge Card using Field of Flowers Bundle

Welcome and thank you so much for your visit.  Take time to look around and see if any of my projects inspire you!

If you wish to purchase any of the products I have used, I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in the UK, so if you live in Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands or United Kingdom, you are eligible to purchase from me, but regardless of where you are from, I do appreciate your visit to my blog.

When I first saw the Confetti Flowers Border Punch, I knew that I wanted to try it out this way.  I first punched the front of the notecard on the long side, then using the co-ordinating stamp set, Field of Flowers, stamped the flowers on a piece of Whisper White cardstock in Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight inks, I cut the panel down to size and adhered it to the notecard.  On a scrap of Whisper White I stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, in Balmy Blue ink and trimmed it to fit onto the stamped panel.  The die cut flowers were from the Ornate Borders Dies, which I cut using the same colours, layering the medium and small sized die cuts together before attaching to the panel.

To accentuate the punched edge of the card, I added an insert – I cut a piece of blue copier paper to fit inside, then to attach the insert, ran a line of glue, next to and parallel to the right of the central fold inside the card.  The copier paper is from my stash (not a Stampin’ Up! product) and matches very well with Balmy Blue.

Thank you for viewing my project today – I hope you will visit again soon!
